RUBBERDAM FOR CEREC® - Part 4: Open Rubber Dam
The Open Rubber Dam its very easy and fast to apply and can be used for simple clinic procedures, for scanning and for situations, when the normal rubber dam is impossible to place.
Use a medium rubber shield and a big frame. Make only two holes - normally at the position of the first molars. Place clamps 12A and 13A. Make a straight cut between the clamps and push the rubber to the labial side. Invert it to retract the lips and the soft tissues.
