Setting the model axis is a optional step, because it's done by the software automatically. Nothing at all improvements of the positioning of the model axis lead to more precise proposals of the contact points, the occlusion and the general form. The must must be oriented in 3 views. The horseshoe is the occlusal view on the model. The most important point is the incised point. It must be located between the two centrals. The we have an anterior, a premolar and a molar segment. The lateral view should respect the curve of SPEE, the anterior view the curve of WILSON.
